Hello, my name is Allen George and I am the Senior Pastor at SherLynd Baptist Church, seen here under the watchful eye of my wonderful wife Lisa. Lisa and I have been married for 28 years and have two children Mark and Samantha. Mark works for Apple and is a student at Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Samantha works at NTELOS, is married to DJ Campbell and lives in Waynesboro. We have been blessed to minister to and be ministered to by the people at SherLynd for over 6 years and God has blessed us tremendously! We are so thankful God moved us to the Valley and to have such a loving and caring church family. SherLynd is a young, exciting and growing ministry and truly a place where friends become family. If you do not have a church home or church family, friend you are missing one of the greatest blessings this side of heaven.
